A couple of candidates have applied and the board announced it will conduct interviews on Monday, Oct. 5 in executive session. A decision may be made then, officials said.
The preferred candidate must live in town and doesn't necessarily need to have children in the school system.
“In general we are looking for someone who has time to put in because it takes a tremendous amount of time -- and a general interest in the school district,” Albro said.
